Certificate of Institutional Accreditation
Issued Under the Authority of the International Academic Higher Education Board

The International Academic Council for Higher Education and Development (IACHED), a globally recognized accrediting body dedicated to the advancement of excellence in higher education, does hereby formally declare and certify, through this official instrument, that the distinguished institution known as Corporación Universitaria de Humanidades y Ciências Sociales de Chile has been duly examined, evaluated, and found to meet — and indeed to surpass — the rigorous standards established by IACHED for institutional accreditation at the international level.

An Accreditation Certificate issued by IACHED constitutes an authoritative declaration that the accredited institution conforms to the highest internationally recognized criteria of academic integrity, instructional quality, governance, and scholarly mission. It is not merely an administrative credential, but a living covenant between the institution and the global academic community.

Institutional accreditation, as administered by IACHED, represents a comprehensive and systematic process of quality assurance through which an independent body rigorously evaluates the totality of an educational institution's academic programs, administrative structures, faculty qualifications, research outputs, student services, infrastructure, and strategic vision. The process is designed not only to verify current compliance with established benchmarks but to stimulate a culture of continuous improvement and institutional self-reflection.

In fulfillment of this mandate, IACHED exercises ongoing supervisory authority over all accredited institutions. This supervisory function encompasses periodic documentary reviews, external peer evaluations conducted by panels of senior academics and professionals drawn from across the international community, on-site institutional visits, and the systematic analysis of performance indicators including graduate outcomes, faculty scholarly productivity, curriculum relevance, and alignment with global academic standards.

The oversight framework maintained by IACHED is grounded in the principle that accreditation is not a terminal event but a continuous relationship. Through structured monitoring cycles, accredited institutions are required to submit periodic self-assessment reports, respond to IACHED evaluative inquiries, and demonstrate sustained compliance with evolving quality benchmarks. This cyclical model ensures that the prestige associated with IACHED accreditation reflects genuine, verifiable, and enduring academic excellence — not merely a historical certification frozen in time.

IACHED further affirms its commitment to the preservation of academic freedom, ethical scholarly conduct, and the social responsibility of higher education institutions, recognizing that the ultimate beneficiaries of accreditation are the students, scholars, and communities served by the accredited institution.

Pursuant to the foregoing, and having completed the prescribed procedures of institutional evaluation with fully satisfactory results, IACHED hereby confers upon Corporación Universitaria de Humanidades y Ciências Sociales de Chile this Certificate of Institutional Accreditation, in formal recognition of the institution's demonstrated commitment to academic excellence, the intellectual development of its student body, the advancement of humanistic and social scientific knowledge, and the fulfillment of its mission within the broader framework of international higher education.

This accreditation shall remain valid in accordance with the institutional review schedule established by IACHED, subject to the ongoing supervisory obligations described herein, and may be renewed upon completion of the periodic re-evaluation process as specified in the IACHED Standards and Procedures Manual, current edition.
